Layout winter jumps and cardigans with modern style

When the cold winds start blowing in Australia, it's time to pull out the winter jumpers and the cardigans. If you live in the northern hemisphere, summer can also take cold days (and sometimes cold days) when you need a lightweight cardigan or jumper.

Your first thoughts can be about buying something new. It is okay.

I have recently noticed some new ideas for stylish ways that Baby Boomers can cook their winter jumpers and cardboard so you can see the mother rather than dowdy. You may still need to buy new products, but they will be cheaper alternatives that expand and revitalize your current clothing. Many women underestimate the versatility of the clothes that are already hanging in their wardrobe.

Here for you are now my three new pieces of fashionable to store your winter jumps and velcro with modern style and style.

Grandpa makes a statement

I noted a fashion tip in the June 2013 issue of the Australian Weight Watchers magazine. They actually showed the V-neck, but it was the grandfather shirt under it that attracted my attention.

The model from the magazine was shown with a slightly wider V-neck sweater. Underneath it was a grandpa's shirt that was snapped under the jumper's V-front. The full extent of unbuttoning is not seen and the open space creates a second slimming V-shape and space to add a statement necklace. A short necklace is better here than a long necklace. Each round neck or open T-shirt would work as the necklace could be below or on top of it. Because you only show a small piece of the T-shirt or shirt, the white color of the model will work for everyone even if white is not your best color.

What a difference a belt does

I write quite a bit about the belts because they are worn in ways today that make them a modern classic. Stop saying that your waist has expanded. Get over it and embrace narrow belts with a difference.

I have a picture of two models that have the same Butterick pattern 5760 which has a simple round neck and short-necked cardigan. A model has a zipper that is not snap which is a classic way that can easily see dowdy. The other model has the same cardigan with only the center button built up. She wears a narrow belt with a wide open ring-shaped buckle over the hood. The buckle is your modern style secret. Because it is metal and open, it breaks the width of your belt. The result is that the waist looks smaller. This type of belt is a dressing magician. You can wear it over jackets or some cardigans for the same effect. Look at your favorite stores or go to the Chico website where you will find four similar belts.

Three Quarter Magic

I am a fan of three quarters of sleeves. They are so versatile. In addition to being a modern classic, they slim you down, because the lower part of your arm is always the narrowest part. In addition, three-quarter sleeves are perfect for tropical climate winters and cold summer evenings throughout the world.

Basic V-nack wool-knit cardinals worn over classic centered buttoned shirts can make you feel old-fashioned and dowdy. Even when you leave a piece of cardigan buttoned to the waist, it is still aging. A strong statement necklace can lift it a little. A better option is to wear just below the elbow or three-quarter sleeve, modern cardigan that I saw last year on the Coldwater Creek website. Under the model's light gray cardigan she had a soft white or cream slice. Her sleeves were pressed up a little to reveal her narrow arms. The loose and slightly open throat looked more modern than the old slices that are tight in the neck. Her necklace was a darker gray and just came across chest height. Everything gave an impression of openness.

Tip – If your hair is gray, choose a light gray or silver cardigan. Mid gray and dark gray, when worn on your torso, add years to your appearance. A white or cream slice that is worn with light gray is an unusual combination that works very well.

Last word

The draped cardigan is still modern and fashionable. For a change, take another look in your wardrobe to see if you can customize any of these three pieces of styling advice. Otherwise, go buy a grandfather shirt, new belt or a loose neck disc view to revive your existing winter jumpers and cardigans.
